The Morning Prep Center is not designed to predict what the market will do. It is there to provide context.
I want to understand the environment first. Then I move to the charts and let price tell me what happens next.
Inside the Center you will find information I review as part of my own morning preparation:
Preparation is not prediction.
If futures are higher, that doesn't mean stocks must rally. If yields are rising, that doesn't automatically mean technology stocks must fall. If volatility is lower, that doesn't guarantee a quiet day.
Markets don't owe us those relationships.
The information in the Morning Prep Center helps establish context. Then price tells us whether that context is actually influencing the market.
That's why one of the principles I repeat constantly at Right Way Options is:
Follow, Don't Predict.
I don't open the Morning Prep Center looking for a trade. I open it looking for context.
The basic process is simple.
I start with what happened in Asia. Then I look at Europe. Next I check U.S. futures. From there I want to see what Treasury yields are doing. Then I look at oil, metals, the dollar and volatility. Finally, I check the economic calendar and any major overnight news.
None of those answers automatically creates a trade. They simply help me understand the environment. Then I move to my charts. That's where price takes over.
There's another way I think you'll get value from the Morning Prep Center.
Use it before watching the Right Way Options Morning Market Prep.
Open the Center first. Spend a few minutes reviewing the overnight environment yourself. Make a mental note of what catches your attention. Then watch the Morning Market Prep video. Compare what you noticed with what I'm watching.
The goal isn't to teach you to copy my opinion. The goal is to help you develop a repeatable preparation process of your own.
Preparation doesn't eliminate uncertainty. It helps us operate more intelligently inside uncertainty.
